A volumetric 4K AR capture studio built in Seoul for 5G content. I worked as a camera operator and graphic designer on the team.
LG U+ built a 4K volumetric AR studio in Seoul to produce flagship 5G content. Thirty 4K cameras capture a performer — K-pop stars, yoga trainers — from a full 360°; a single 30-second clip takes 3–4 hours to render, and the finished holograms are delivered to LG U+ subscribers on their phones. I was part of the team led by supervisor Sun-Gu Kim, working as one of the camera operators and graphic designers.
